Description:
The Donabate Coursing Club produced wonderful sport for many years on the outskirts of North Dublin very close to Donabate village and also in Ballough. The club ran two meetings each season: the first in November and the second in January. This picture shows Adrian Horan slipping a pair of fawns on one of the coursing fields at Donabate on 21 January 1980. Maurice Downey judged the meeting.
