Swaffham (Anglia Cup) Coursing Meeting 2004 Little Cressingham
Medium: Oil on Canvas
Dimensions: 51cm (H) x76cm (W) [Not Framed]
The Swaffham Coursing Club, the oldest coursing club in Britain, was founded by Lord Orford in 1776. It annually staged the second-most prestigious 64-dog event, the Anglia Cup, in Britain for many years – the 2004 fixture being held on 2/3/4 February. The picture shows a scene on the third day at Little Cressingham, Norfolk. Bob Burdon judged the event and Arron Atmore was the Slipper.
